One last ice photo. I loved these inverted footprints on the lake, the way weight compacted the snow into something slightly more durable under a warm April sun. Probably a metaphor in there for carrying things and pressure and diamonds and being swoll in a psychological sense, but I don’t have time for following those thoughts when that same sun is making phone screens hard to read and long walks very tempting. Leave only footprints indeed.
